Social Work Services
Social work services at DREAM Academy will be aimed at helping students address social, emotional and behavioral challenges, enabling them to function successfully in their educational, home and community environments.
School social work services will be provided to both special education and general education students. Social work services include individual and group counseling, assistance in locating community resources such as health and dental clinics, and referrals for food, clothing and transportation assistance in the community.
Guidance Counseling
A comprehensive guidance counseling program will be available for students in grades 9-12. Small-group and individual counseling services are available to assist students in creating an individual education plan. Students receive assistance on evaluating their current status and requirements for graduation, as well as developing and implementing their college and/or career plans.
